Espejos u Objetos Brillantes

En un da soleado, un espejo es un dispositivo
mejor para realizar seales. Si no tiene ningn
espejo, la taza de su cantimplora, la hebilla del
cinturn, o un objeto similar que refleje los
rayos del sol. En la prctica, hay que usar un
espejo o un objeto brillante para las seales. Si
usted tiene un espejo MK-3, siga las
instrucciones.
Lleve el espejo de seales atado a un cordn o
culguelo de su cuello para que est listo para
su uso inmediato.
La Cautela
Nunca dirija el reflejo de luz a la cabina del
piloto del avin para ms de unos segundos,
puede deslumbrar al piloto.
Un poco de niebla en tierra y los espejismos
pueden hacer que un piloto no descubra al
objetivo. Consiga el punto ms alto en su rea
cuando realice las seales. Si no puede
determinar la ubicacin del avin, destelle el
espejo en direccin al ruido de la aeronave.
