Ficha 8. The Saxon Genitive s

Se usa s normalmente con personas para expresar posesin. Lo posedo se
coloca detrs y no lleva artculo:

Ex: I stay at my sisters house. en casa de mi hermana.

Are you going to Marias party? Vas a la fiesta de Mara?
Si el poseedor es un sustantivo en plural terminado en s (friends), slo se
escribe un apstrofo (-):
Ex: My mothers car. El coche de mi madre.
My parents car. El coche de mis padres.
En general, se usa of... (=de) y no s para hablar de cosas, lugares, etc:
Ex: The capital of Spain is Madrid.
