1. Pembelajaran abad 21 ditutuntut berbasis teknologi untuk menyeimbangkan
tuntutan di zaman milenial yang bertujuan agar, peserta didik terbiasa dengan
kecakapan hidup di abad 21
2. Diharapkan peserta didik di abad 21 memiliki ketrampilan metakognitif, berpikir
kritis dan kreatif.
3. Karakteristik PembelajaranPembelajaran Abad 21 merupakan pembelajaran
yang harus mempersiapkan generasi Abad 21 dengan kemajuan Teknologi
Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK atau ICT) yang berkembang begitu cepat.
Perkembangan Teknologi tersebut mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan
termasuk pada proses pembelajaran.
