TOPIC: PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE
USE: We use the present simple tense to talk about
Daily routine verbs or things that are true.
For example:

El presente simple se usa para hablar de rutinas diarias, hechos y cosas que son
verdaderas.
 I work

THIRD PERSON SINGULAR RULES
(SHE, HE, IT)

Estas reglas solo se una para la tercera persona singular, es decir, con los
pronombres “She”, “he”, “it” cuando se van a hacer oraciones afirmativas.
Para los verbos que terminan en ss, sh, ch, x o tch se agrega ES al final del verbo.
Recuerda, solo con la tercera persona singular.
 Miss: She misses home.
Watch: He watches TV.
Finish: He finishes the homework.
Fix: She fixes the car.

Recuerda que estas reglas solo se una para la tercera persona singular, con los
pronombres “She”, “he”, “it” cuando se van a hacer oraciones afirmativas .
Para los verbos terminandos en “O” se agrega ES también,
por ejemplo: DO – DOES GO - GOES
 Go: He goes to the school.
Do: He does the homework.

Recuerda que estas reglas solo se una para la tercera persona singular, con los
pronombres “She”, “he”, “it” cuando se van a hacer oraciones afirmativas .
Have is irregular. It changes:
Have – HAS

She has free time.

El verbo HAVE es un verbo irregular por eso cambia totalmente y queda HAS.
Para los verbos que terminan en Y pero antes hay una vocal se quita la Y
y se agrega IES. Por ejemplo: STUDY STUDIES
Study: He studies English at home.
Carry: He carries heavy things.

Exception: PLAY - PLAYS

La excepción es con los verbos que terminan en Y pero antes hay una vocal como
play, simplemente de agrega la S.
