MPLS usa una etiqueta de 32-bit que contiene los siguientes campos:
• ETIQUETA (20-bits)
• EXP (3-bit) campo experimental para consideraciones de QoS
• S (1-bit) cuando S=1 indica que es la más antigua de la pila de
etiquetas (bottom of the stack) antes del IP-Header; cuando S=0
indica que es una etiqueta más de la pila de etiquetas
• TTL (8-bit) “Time To Live” para indicar el número de nodos MPLS que
el paquete ha atravezado hasta alcanzar su destino
