Una inferencia es una evaluacin que realiza la mente entre expresiones bien formadas de un lenguaje (EBF) que, al ser

relacionadas intelectualmente como abstraccin, permiten trazar una lnea lgica de condicin o implicacin lgica entre las diferentes EBF. De esta forma, partiendo de la verdad o falsedad posible (como hiptesis) o conocida (como argumento) de alguna o algunas de ellas, puede deducirse la verdad o falsedad de alguna o algunas de las otras EBF. Surge as lo que conocemos como postulado1 o transformada de una expresin original conforme a reglas previamente establecidas,2 que puede enmarcarse en uno o varios contextos referenciales diversos,3 obtenindose en cada uno de ellos un significado como valor de verdad de equivalente.4 5 6 Es la operacin lgica utilizada en los motores de inferencia de los Sistemas Expertos.

OLIVER TWIST El libro relata la historia de una mujer pobre, cansada y embarazada que se encuentra en Londres, que all antes de dar a luz, es recogida y llevada a un hospicio donde nace el nio de sta. La madre estaba en tan malas condiciones que muere en el parto, al nio recin nacido un hombre llamado Sr.Bumble (dueo del hospicio), al no tener el pequeo nombre decide ponerle Oliver Twist, al que luego mantiene parroquia, dndole de comer y un sitio para dormir. Hasta que un da el Sr.Bumble decide llevarle a trabajar a una funeraria con un hombre el Sr.Sowerberry, que es un enterrador, pero a Oliver no le hace mucha gracia, y vuelve al hospicio a causa de un desafortunado acontecimiento. Luego va a Londres donde se encuentra con una banda de ladrones, liderados por un viejo, judo, con barba llamado Fagn, el cual acepta a Oliver como miembro ms en la banda conociendo all a Betsy, John Dawkins Artero Perilln,etc... Fagn un da manda robar a Oliver, y si el chico no lo hace el viejo le dara una buena paliza, porque as es como trataba a los nios si no le obedecan les pegaba una paliza a los chicos, porque Fagn les daba de comer etc... Oliver se dispona a robar con otros compaeros a un viejo el Sr.Brownlow y les cogi, afortunadamente el hombre no los llev a la polica, y rescat a Oliver de la banda del viejo judo Fagn, despus de esto Oliver cae enfermo y la Sra.Bedwin le cuida, entonces Oliver en ese momento est feliz porque se preocupan por l. Ms tarde Bill Sikes captura a Oliver, luego a ste le hieren... Luego Fagn es condenado a la horca por cometer todos los delitos ya nombrados antes, y posteriormente Oliver se da cuenta de que el viejo Fagn es el pariente ms allegado de ste y entonces el chico se queda con la herencia del que le haba maltratado y pegado continuamente el Sr.Brownlow adopta a Oliver.
