Normally I clean the house on Saturdays. My husband, David, always helps me. I prefer to do the indoor
chores. David likes the outdoor chores, but he does lots of indoor jobs, too.

David makes the bed every day. I usually cook our meals, so he loads the dishwasher, scrubs the kitchen sink,
and wipes the countertops. He also takes out the trash every night. I’m a little messy, but I try to straighten the
house every day.

On Saturdays David vacuums, mops the floors, and scrubs the bathtub and shower. He also cleans the toilet. I
hate that job! But I love to wash and iron our clothes. Most people don’t like washing and ironing, but I enjoy
those chores.

David loves to work outside on the weekends! There is no outdoor job that he hates. He loves all of them! He
pulls weeds and mows the grass every week. In the fall, he rakes the leaves. Every day he takes out the trash.

You can see that my husband does most of the work at our house. Because of him, our house and yard always
look nice. One of my friends calls him “DWH”—“David, the Wonder Husband.” He IS a wonder, and I’m lucky to
have him!
