PRESENTACIÓN DEL EVENTO

La IV edición de Sancti Petri SUP Race, se celebrará durante los días 11 y 12 de Mayo de
2024 en la Playa de la Barrosa.

INFORMACIÓN BÁSICA
Contaremos con 2 modalidades de Carreras:

1. Beach Race - Técnica: puntuable para la Liga FESurfing Costa del SUP y también
puntuable para el Circuito Eurotour 2024.
2. Sprints - Velocidad: Copa de España de la Federación Española de Surf.
El evento está organizado por la empresa Náutica Novojet, gracias al apoyo Institucional
del Patronato de Turismo de Cádiz, Junta Andalucía y Ayuntamiento de Chiclana.

Además cuenta con el apoyo, como patrocinador principal de Atenas Playa, que será
sede del evento Sancti Petri SUP Race 2024.

Este evento cuenta con el reconocimiento de la Federación Española de Surf. Y será

prueba puntuable para El circuito Eurotour y el Circuito Andaluz de Costa del SUP 2024.

Además de los dos días de competición ofreceremos un programa de actividades
paralelas a la competición.
● Actividades deportivas relacionadas con el Stand UP paddle, para participantes y
asistentes.
● Conciertos y actuaciones.
● Talleres relacionados con la concienciación medioambiental y sostenibilidad.
● Eco village con productos orgánicos y sostenibles.
● Zona de exposición de marcas y test de material.

ADULTOS (MASCULINA Y FEMENINA)

1. ELITE CLASIFICACIÓN GENERAL (SUB 18 + ELITE SENIOR + ELITE MASTER + ELITE

KAHUNA)

ELITE SENIOR: de 18 a 39 años. (tablas hasta 14’)

ELITE MASTER: de 40 a 49 años. (tablas hasta 14’)

ELITE KAHUNA: a partir de 50 años. (tablas hasta 14’)

AMATEUR RÍGIDA: mayores de 16 años. (tablas rígidas hasta 14’).

AMATEUR HINCHABLE: mayores de 16 años. (tablas hinchables hasta 14’).

UNIVERSITARIA UCA: mayores de 17 años (tablas hasta 14’)

* Las diferentes categorías están sujetas a confirmación de la Liga FESurfing.

* Los deportistas de la Comunidad Universitaria de la Universidad de Cádiz contarán con

premios especiales.

Sub 8: nacidos 2015 y siguientes (tablas hasta 10’6)

Sub 10: nacidos 2013 y 2014 (tablas hasta 10’6)

Sub 14: nacidos 2009 y 2010 (tablas hasta 12’6)

Sub 16: nacidos 2007 y 2008 (tablas hasta 14)

The IV edition of Sancti Petri SUP Race, will take place on the 11th and 12th of May 2024
on the beach La Barrosa.

BASIC INFORMATION

There will be two types of races:

➢ Beach Race - Technical, which will count towards the FESurfing Costa del SUP
League and also towards the 2024 Eurotour Circuit,
➢ Sprints - Speed, which will count towards the Spanish Surfing Federation's Copa de
España.

The event is organized by Novojet, with the institutional support of Cádiz Tourism Board,
the Andalusian Government, and the Chiclana City Council.
In addition, it has the support of Atenas Playa, the main sponsor of the Sancti Petri SUP
Race 2024 event.

This event is recognized by the Spanish Surf Federation and is a qualifying event for both
the Eurotour and the Andalusian Costa del SUP Circuit 2024.

The organization is led by Marta Garat and Lucía Cantero.

CATEGORIES

ADULT CATEGORIES (MALE AND FEMALE)

ELITE (SUB 18 + ELITE SENIOR + ELITE MASTER + ELITE KAHUNA)
ELITE SENIOR: 18 to 39 years old. (boards up to 14’)

ELITE MASTER: 40-49 years old. (boards up to 14')

AMATEUR RIGID: 16 years old and above.(rigid boards up to 14')
AMATEUR INFLATABLE: For individuals over 16 years old. (Inflatable boards up to 14’).

* The different categories are subject to confirmation by the FESurfing League.

* Athletes from the University Community of the University of Cadiz will receive a discount
and special prizes.

KIDS Categories (Male and Female):

- Under 8: born in 2015 and later (boards up to 10'6")
- Under 10: born in 2013 and 2014 (boards up to 10'6")
- Under 12: born in 2011 and 2012 (boards up to 12'6")
- Under 14: born in 2009 and 2010 (boards up to 12'6")

Participants born in 2005 and 2006 (tables up to 14) who are under 18 years are eligible to
compete in the adult category

Race: Suitable for all ages and all levels of ability on any type of board.

The first price range is from the opening of registration until March 10th.
The second range is until April 7th.
The third range is until May 8th at 20:00.
