Grado I.- “intelectualmente superior” centil 0 o superior a 95.
Grado II.- “claramente por encima del promedio en capacidad intelectual” centil 75-94. Se puede clasificar como II + cuando el centil se encuentra en el intervalo 90-94.
Grado III.- “intelectualmente promedio en capacidad intelectual” centil 25-75. Se puede utilizar el signo III + cuando el centil es superior al 50 y III – cuando el centil es
inferior al 50.
Grado IV .- “claramente por debajo del promedio en capacidad intelectual” centil 6-25. Se puede utilizar el signo IV – si es igual o inferior a 10.
Grado V .- “con déficit intelectual” si el centil es igual o inferior a 5.
