Analytic geometry is a branch of mathematics that mostly studies the interactions that
geometric shapes have, from their distances, their areas, their intersection points to their
inclination angles with their division points. This through analysis supported by different
calculations that provide precise information on these geometric interactions, as well as
interactions that apply in different areas of engineering. In order to express various
characteristics of geometric figures in mathematical terms, equations that describe these
figures are also used, some of these equations are the straight line, the equation of parallel
lines and the equation of perpendicular lines, all of them describe lines in different positions by
means of mathematical characters that can be used in different applications

Since the equations of the line describe characteristics of geometric figures by means of
mathematical characters, in such a way that they can be included in different calculations of
analytical geometry. The calculations that include this type of equations help to understand
their forms long before they are used in a practical way, which helps engineers or any person
to understand the characteristics of different figures before using them in a physical
environment. In these calculations, not only basic figures made up of straight lines are
included, there are also equations for eclipses, parabolas and hyperbolas, with these more
complex forms, different mathematical aspects are also evaluated in order to understand these
equations, analytical geometry in general is vital. , since being a branch of mathematics is the
basis of the most complex knowledge
