Destination image, memorable tourism experiences and overall satisfaction in relation to
the revisit intention in tourism
ABSTRACT
Tourism is an important economic sector and has achieved accelerated growth in recent
years, making it a highly competitive industry. For this reason, competitors in this industry
have to differentiate themselves, guaranteeing tourists that they will have positive
memorable tourism experiences, as this will generate a future behavior in tourists, since it
will cause a magazine intention in the future. Likewise, in this study we want to analyze the
relationship between destination image, memorable tourist experiences, general satisfaction
in relation to the intention to revisit in tourism. Therefore, this research will have a
quantitative, cross-sectional study and will have a correlational scope, where we will collect
data through an online survey that will have a non-probabilistic convenience sampling of
400 people between the ages of 24 to 50 years who have visited at least one national tourist
destination in the last year. The SMART PLS program will be used to measure the
relationships of our variables and confirm the hypotheses.

y estas dos influyen directamente en la variable experiencias turísticas memorables;
directa con las experiencias turísticas memorables (Stavrianea & Kamenidou, 2022;
comportamiento futuro positivo (Soliman, 2021).

experiencias turísticas memorables se tomarán tres indicadores (Keskin et al., 2022);
