REGLAS PARA FORMAR TIEMPOS VERBALES EN ACTIVA PRESENTE PROGRESSIVO

AUXILIAR: TO BE ( AM, IS , ARE)

ACTIVA PRESENT: reglas para formar oraciones afirmativas en presente PROGRESIVO con HE, SHE , IT

1. Si el verbo termina en E se quita la e y se le agrega ing: love, giving ….. GIVE GIVING

mi hermana esta dando una chocolatina a su hijo

My sister IS GIVING a chocolate to her son
Neg : My sister IS not GIVING a chocolate to her son

2. Si el verbo termina en Y se le agrega ING: STUDY… studying … marry… marrying carry…..carrying

PLAY…. PLAYING

3. Si el verbo es monosílabo termina en consonante, pero antes hay vocal , se le dobla la consonante final y se le
agrega ing STOP… STOPping, ………………… OMIT..OMITTing cut….cutting
Get…..getting

4. Todo verbo que termine en consonante diferente a las reglas anteriores, se le agrega ING… Works……. Eat
Walk….walking
