THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE OTHER VERBS


El presente simple expresa un hecho general. El presente simple es una sola palabra, la forma
sencilla del verbo, se añade una ( S ) en la tercera persona singular.
IRREGULAR VERB FORMS IN THE THIRD PERSON SINGULAR
1. En la tercera persona singular de los verbos terminados en Y, precedida de una consonante,
se cambia la Y a I y se añade ES.
Ejemplos : He flies ( fly, try, study, hurry, carry )
2. En la tercera persona singular de los verbos terminados en O, SH, CH, S, X, Z, SS, se añade
ES.
Ejemplos : She fixes ( go, wash, watch, miss, relax, buzz )
3. En la tercera persona singular de los verbos terminados en E, T, P, K, L, R, B, F. . . . . . . . .,
se le añade S.
Ejemplos: She comes ( come ). He puts (put). It runs (run). She shops (shop).
4. El verbo Have es irregular y su tercera persona del singular es Has.
