Hello everyone!!!! Vamos a repasar lo trabajado hasta ahora: PAST SIMPLE.

Para elaborar una oración en pasado AFIRMATIVO, debemos respetar la siguiente

estructura:

SUJETO + VERBO EN PASADO

EJ: TOM WATCHED A FILM LAST NIGHT (Tom miró una pelicula anoche)

¿Cómo NEGAMOS?

SUJETO + DIDN’T + VERBO EN PRESENTE

EJ: TOM DIDN’T WATCH TV LAST NIGHT. (Tom no miró la tele anoche)

El DIDN’T significa que NO. El verbo lo usamos en PRESENTE porque el DIDN’T ya nos
indica que la oración ya está en pasado.

¿Cómo PREGUNTAMOS?

DID + SUJETO + VERBO EN PRESENTE + ?

EJ: DID TOM WATCH TV LAST NIGHT? (¿Tom miró la tele anoche?)

La respuesta sería: YES + SUJETO SOBRE EL CUAL ESTAMOS HABLANDO + DID

NO + SUJETO SOBRE EL CUAL ESTAMOS HABLANDO + DIDN’T

YES, HE DID / NO, HE DIDN’T

ACTIVITIES:

1) Pagina 6 del booklet, “A picnic in the park”. Observá el vocabulario- la lista de

frases relacionada con actividades que podemos hacer en nuestras vacaciones.
Con la ayuda de un diccionario, uní las frases con sus correspondientes dibujos.

 2) Completá las oraciones con los verbos que están entre paréntesis en pasado
(buscalos en la lista o agregales ED, según corresponda). Si ves que al lado del
verbo hay un NOT, quiere decir que la oración será NEGATIVA.

Ejemplo:
Eddie WENT (go) fishing.
Eddie DIDN’T GO (not go) fishing.

Read and complete:

Last year, Eddie and Tom _____________________ (go) on a picnic to Triston Lake. Their
friend Charlie also __________________ (go) with them. There are a lot of fish in that
lake, but they ____________________ (not go) fishing. Tom and Eddie
_________________ (go) for a swim, and Charlie ______________ (stay) with the food.
Suddenly, a goat _________________ (appear) and ________________ (eat) all the food!
Charlie _________________ (be) so scared that he ______________________ (climb) a
tree. It was so funny!

3) Now answer the questions about the story (contestá las preguntas sobre la
historia)

a- Did Eddie and Tom go to Triston Lake?

b- Did they go alone?
c- Did they go camping?
d- What did they do there?
e- Did they go fishing?
f- What happened with the food?
g- Where was Charlie?
