Envuelto para regalo

The woman placed the gift on the table in the grimy room of an old run down
hotel.

La mujer colocó el regalo sobre la mesa en la habitación mugrienta de un viejo

hotel descuidado.

It was a medium-sized package, not particularly large or small. But it had been
wrapped with loving care and was adorned with a beautiful big bow.

Era un paquete de tamaño mediano, no especialmente grande ni pequeño.

y gran lazo.

The bow on the package was far more beautiful than the hotel.

The woman sat down on a filthy, dilapidated chair and waited. She waited and
waited until she heard someone knock decisively three times at the door.
