 PASADO SIMPLE/VERBOS IRREGULARES
El inglés tiene varios verbos irregulares
en el pasado simple que son verbos
comunes. No hay una regla simple para
deducir el pasado simple en inglés de
estos verbos y por lo tanto se deben
memorizar.
 EXAMPLES
I saw a really great movie yesterday -
Ví una estupenda película ayer
I thought you did it already – Pensé
que ya lo hiciste
She chose the red dress – Ella eligió
el vestido rojo

 Estructura de la frase
Para formar el pasado simple de los verbos
irregulares, basta con poner el sujeto, el
verbo en pasado simple y los
complementos necesarios. Por ejemplo:
I ate chocolate yesterday.
(Comí chocolate ayer).
 VERBOS QUE SE CONJUGAN COMO BRING
El pasado simple del
verbo bring es brought. Hay otros
verbos que se conjugan igual, quizás
te será más fácil memorizarlos como
un grupo. Por ejemplo, el pasado
de buy es bought, el de
fight es fought y el de think, thought.
 VERBO DO EN PASADO
El pasado del verbo do es did. Este
verbo es muy importante, porque se
utiliza como auxiliar para las formas
interrogativa y negativa del pasado
simple.

listado de verbos irregulares
completa las siguientes
oraciones en pasado simple:

(Él habló italiano a todas horas todos los
días cuando estaba en Italia.)

(Compré un vestido para mi madre.)

bored to death.
(Como la reunión fue tan aburrida, yo estaba
muerta de aburrimiento.)

morning.
(Mi padre perdió sus llaves esta mañana.)
The birds (to fly) over our heads.
(Los pájaros volaron sobre nuestras cabezas.)
