- Presenten información sobre la ciudad en un viaje virtual.
Before you begin your research, you will discuss what Philadelphia is like and what you
can do here. Using your past experiences and knowledge of Philadelphia the group will
create a list of the features you are looking for in the a perfect city. Then, working
independently, you will write a description of an imaginary trip your group took to that
city. You will create a google slide presentation or prezi to share your virtual tour. Once
you have written your description, share it with the rest of the class.
Paso 1: Use vocabulary about cities to discuss what makes a good city

As each group member talks about his or her experience, use the chart to take notes.

Paso 2: Información en internet - Once you have finalized your list of likes and
dislikes, each group will choose one of the Argentinean cities and research it.
The first link is a link to Google Maps. Check out where the city is located and look for a
description and places to visit. All the city links are in Spanish, but they are not difficult
to understand.
When you go to the city’s website, use the worksheet to take notes on what the city has
to offer. If you find interesting visuals, download them or copy them (make sure to copy
the link to provide a reference for the picture).

Step 3: Create your Presentation
Once you have finished your research, share your findings with the rest of the group.
Together create a google doc presentation that describes the most interesting places
and things to do in the cities. Each of you will work together to describe an imaginary
trip to the city (using google docs), telling what happened and what you did and how it
went. This can take the form of a paragraph, a cartoon with speech balloons, or even a
play or script presented through dialogue. You will then share your description with the
rest of the class.
10 slides at least
1 title slide with population and the map of the city, 1 slide with a description of where
you stayed, how you got there.
9 additional slides: Each slide describes a different place, has at least 4 sentences and
pictures/video. Describe what you did, how it was, give a description of the place or its
history and how you got there.
Each slide has to answer the following questions in Spanish
¿Adonde fuiste? (Where did you go?)
¿Qué hiciste? (What did you do?)
¿Como te lo pasaste? (Did you have a good time?)
¿Cuánto cuesta para llegar a la ciudad? (How much does it cost to get to the city)

When you present it, keep in mind the following features of an effective presentation:
● It will inform the class about your city and what features it has to offer.
● It will describe an entertaining and imaginary visit to the city

your presentation will be evaluated will help you focus on the information you need to include.
