Marshall Napier (22 de octubre de 1951) es un actor neozeland�s, m�s conocido por
haber interpretado al sargento Fred Catteau en la serie Police Rescue y a Harry
Ryan en la serie Mcleod's Daughters.

Marshall est� casado con Beverly y tiene dos hijos James Ruben Napier y la actriz
Jessica Napier, con quien comparti� cr�ditos en la serie Mcleod's Daughters. Antes
de convertirse en actor, trabaj� como estudiante de arte y camionero.

Su sobrino es el actor James Napier, mejor conocido por interpretar al ranger rojo
Conner McKnight, en Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Carrera
Marshall ha participado en numerosas series de televisi�n, miniseries y pel�culas.
Tambi�n escribi� la obra de teatro Freak Winds, que es producida en Nueva York,
Napier tambi�n act�a en ella.1?

Su primera participaci�n en televisi�n fue en 1979 cuando se uni� a la serie de

televisi�n The Neville Purvis Family Show. Entre 1980 y 1987 apareci� en Starlight
Hotel, Came a Hot Friday donde interpret� a Sel Bishop, Lie of the Land, Dangerous
Orphans, Pallet on the Floor como Joe Voot, Wild Horses, Warlords of the 21st
Century, Carry Me Back, Goodbye Pork Pie, Bad Blood, y en Beyond Reasonable Doubt
junto a Tony Barry.

En 1987 prest� su voz para interpretar a Hunk Murphy en Footrot Flats: The Dog's
Tale.

En 1988, se traslad� con su esposa y sus dos hijos, a Australia, para seguir una
carrera en la actuaci�n y desde entonces ha trabajado en teatro, cine, televisi�n,
producciones y como escritor de obras de teatro.

Ese mismo a�o interpret� a Frank Le Mat en la pel�cula Georgia junto a Judy Davis,
tambi�n apareci� en The Clean Machine, en la serie de televisi�n Always Afternoon
donde interpret� a Bill Kennon; la serie contaba la historia de los prisioneros de
guerra alemanes quienes eran mantenidos en campamentos en el a�o 1915; Marshall
trabaj� con los actores alemanes Jochen Horst y Ben Becker.

En 1989 apareci� en un episodio de la serie Mission: Impossible. De 1990 a 1999

trabaj� en varias series y pel�culas como Airtight, Blue Heelers donde interpret� a
Jim Jamieson en dos episodios, The Sugar Factory donde interpret� al se�or Berne,
junto a Anthony Hayes y Sam Healy; tambi�n apareci� en Meteorites como el Mayor
Cass Cassidy, Diana & Me, Dead Heart, The Beast donde interpret� al Comandante
Wallingford, Race the Sun, Stark, The Girl from Tomorrow Part Two: Tomorrow's End
donde interpret� a Draco en dos episodios, Time Trax, Seven Deadly Sins, G.P.,
Flirting, The Big Steal junto a Ben Mendelsohn y Claudia Karvan, en la pel�cula
interpreta a Desmond Clark; The Phantom Horsemen y The Grasscutter.

Desde 2000 hasta 2003 apareci� en pel�culas como: Bad Eggs, donde interpret� a Doug
Gillespie, The Shirt, Stuffed Bunny junto a su hija Jessica; Black and White;
tambi�n apareci� en las series Stingers como Eddie Thomas, en la miniserie The Farm
y en Head Start, donde interpret� a John Allott en cuatro episodios. En 2004
apareci� en Sold Out.

Desde 2001 hasta 2006 interpret� al testarudo Harry Ryan en la aclamada serie
australiana Mcleod's Daughters, hasta que su personaje muri�.

En 2002, junto a su hija Jessica Napier, ganaron 64.000 d�lares en la versi�n

australiana de �Qui�n quiere ser millonario?, los cuales donaron al "South
Australian Animal Rights Group".

En 2009 apareci� en un episodio de la serie Chandon Pictures, tambi�n interpret� a

Tom en la pel�cula I'm Not Harry Jenson.

En 2011 apareci� en la segunda pel�cula Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer Was
Here, derivada de la exitosa serie Underbelly donde interpret� al comisionado en
jefe Neil Cormie.

En 2015 se unir� al elenco de la segunda temporada de la serie Love Child donde

dar� vida a Greg Matheosn, el padre de la joven Gail Matheson (Tessa James), quien
es internada en un hospital luego de ser encontrada lastimada y poco despu�s muere
por las heridas causadas por su padre.
