Instrucciones para su instalación y uso ES

Las cortinas de aire MUNDOCLIMA están diseñadas para su instalación sobre puertas de ac-
ceso, puertas de almacenes, etc. Gracias a su reducida altura y por tener la aspiración de
aire en la parte frontal, la cortina de aire permite ser instalada incluso en lugares donde el es-
pacio entre la puerta y el techo es limitado. La cortina de aire puede ser también montada
dentro de falsos techos. Para un rendimiento óptimo, se recomienda que la cortina de aire
instalada abarque el ancho total del acceso. El rendimiento de la unidad puede verse afecta-
do en caso de que ésta reciba fuertes corrientes laterales, o como consecuencia de una baja
presión interna. Se recomienda no instalar la cortina de aire a una altura superior a 3 metros.
GRADO DE PROTECCIÓN: IP21.

MONTAJE
Para información detallada sobre dimensiones y distancias mínimas, consultar los esque-
mas.
La cortina de aire debe ser instalada solamente en posición horizontal, con la rejilla hacia
abajo. En instalaciones en amplios accesos, se deberán instalar varias unidades contiguas
de forma que cubran todo el ancho de la puerta. La cortina de aire debe montarse lo más
cerca posible del techo.

MONTAJE SOBRE PARED O TECHO

1. Fije la unidad mediante los 4 orificios situados en su parte posterior. El tamaño
apropiado de tornillos es el M6.
IMPORTANTE: Fije la cortina de aire con los 2 soportes de seguridad que se sumi-
nistran. Dichos soportes pueden ser montados hacia arriba.
2. Atornille a la pared o techo. Vienen incluidos 8 tacos M6 para este propósito.

INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA
La instalación que debe estar provista de un interruptor general, debe ser realizada por un
electricista autorizado. En la parte frontal de la cortina existen 7 orificios de 29 mm de diáme-
tro para la entrada de los cables de alimentación eléctrica y de control. La sección máxima de
los cables es de 16 mm2 en los bornes de potencia y de 6 mm2 en los de control.

PANEL DE CONTROL (OPCIONAL)

Un único mando permite controlar hasta 4 cortinas de aire simultáneamente. El mando se
suministra por separado en una caja de plástico, pero también se puede acoplar a la cortina,
para lo cual deberá seguir los siguientes pasos:
1. Retire la rejilla de aspiración, el filtro y la tapa de la caja de conexión.
2. Retire la cubierta del lado derecho de la cortina de aire.
3. Retire la cubierta inferior del lado derecho de la cortina de aire.
4. Retire la tapa de la caja de control.

5. Desatornille el panel de control y extráigalo de su caja. Realice la conexión de los

cables suministrados a los bornes según los esquemas eléctricos adjuntos.
6. Instale el panel en la cortina.
7. Conecte los cables a la regleta de bornes de la cortina de aire, siguiendo los esque-
mas eléctricos que se adjuntan.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
El panel de control dispone de 2 interruptores con una posición central neutra. El primer inte-
rruptor (en los bornes 21-24) permite regular el caudal de aire: caudal total o caudal míni-
mo. La posición central (0) indica que la(s) cortina(s) de aire no está(n) en funcionamiento (es
decir, no están activas las funciones de ventilación ni de calefacción). El segundo interruptor
(en los bornes 25-28) permite seleccionar 2 niveles de calefacción: potencia media o poten-
cia total.

SEGURIDAD
La cortina de aire viene provista de 2 limitadores de temperatura, uno para cada motor. Si és-
tos se disparan por haberse producido un sobrecalentamiento, proceda del siguiente modo
para rearmarlo:
1. Desconecte la corriente con el interruptor general.
2. Determine la causa y corrija el problema.
3. Rearme el limitador de temperatura presionando el botón rojo hasta que escuche
un "clic".
4. Vuelva a conectar la alimentación eléctrica.

LIMPIEZA
La rejilla de aspiración y los elementos de calefacción deben limpiarse regularmente. Para
ello, desconecte la cortina, limpie la rejilla con un trapo húmedo, desatornille y limpie o aspi-
re los elementos de calefacción.

The MUNDOCLIMA air curtain is designed for permanent mounting on the wall above entry
doors, warehouse doors etc. Because of its low height and the fact that intake air is drawn
from the front, the air curtain can even be mounted where space between the top of the door
and the ceiling is limited. The air curtain can also be built into the ceiling. For best results the
air curtain should cover the full width of the doorway. Low internal pressure, crosswinds, or
strong draughts may affect the efficiency of the air curtain. A mounting height in excess of 3
metres is not recommended.
Enclosure class: IP 21 (drop protected design).

MOUNTING
For details of dimensions and mounting distances, please refer to the drawings.
The air curtain may only be mounted horizontal, with the vent facing downwards. In the
case of wide doorways, several units should be installed adjacent to one another. The air cur-
tain can be mounted in direct contact with the ceiling.

MOUNTING ON WALL OR BEAM

1. Supported by the four keyhole cutouts at the rear. Suitable size screws are M6S M6.
NOTE! Where keyhole mouting is used, the air curtain must be secured using the
two securing brackets that are supplied. These can be mounted upwards.
2. Bolted to wall or beam. Eight M6 studs are provided at the rear for this purpose.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Installation, which must be preceded by an Allpole switch, must be carried out by an authori-
zed electrician. On the front of the curtain there are 7 Knock-outs in the size 29 mm for inlets
for supply and control cables. The input terminal is intended for max 16 mm2 cable, and the
control terminal for max 6 mm2.

CONTROL PANEL (ORDERED SEPARTELY)

A single control panel may control up to four air curtains. The control panel is supplied in a se-
parate plastic case, but may be built into the air curtain instead:
1. Remove the intake grille, filter and the cover plate from the connection compart-
ment.
2. Remove the right hand endplate from the air curtain.
3. Remove the cover from the underside of the air curtain at the right hand edge.
4. Remove the cover from the control box.
5. Unscrew the control panel out of its box. Connect the supplied leads to the terminal
block on the panel, see wiring diagram.
6. Install the panel in the curtain.
7. Connect the leads to the air curtain terminal block, see wiring diagram.

OPERATION

The control panel has two toggle switches with neutral position in the middle. The first (at ter-
minal 21-24) regulated the air flow; full or reduced flow. The middle position (0) implies that
the connected air curtain(s) is/are switched off (both fan and heating). The second switch (at
terminal 25-28) regulated the heating in two stages; half or full power.

OVERHEATING

The air curtian is provided with two temperature limiters, one for each motor. If a limiter has
been triggered from overheating it can be reset as follows:

1. Switch off the power with the all-pole switch.

2. Determine the cause and correct the fault.

3. Reset the temperature limiter in question by pressing the red button until you hear a
”click”.

4. Switch on the power.

CLEANING

The intake grille and the heating elements should be cleaned regularly. Switch off the power.
Wipe the grille with a damp cloth, unscrew it and clean or vacuum the heating elements.
