people are generally said to be honest when

they tell the truth to the best of their
knowledge and do not hide what they know or
think.

Apart from being truthful, honesty is also

generally thought to involve abstaining from
unfair behavior, such as stealing or cheating
on a test.

It is the quality of being honest. Youth tells the

truth when it is not easy to tell.

No man, for any considerable period, can wear

one face to himself, and another to the
multitude, without finally getting bewildered as
