Push connecting rods (2) away from the erankshafl, Remove the upper half ofthe od bearing from the connecting rod NOTE: The following steps ae forthe installation of the connecting rod earings NOTE: Install the connecting od bearings dry when the clearance checks ate made. Put clean engine ol onthe connecting rod bearings fr final assembly ‘Be sure the tabs inthe back ofthe connecting rod earings are in the tab grooves ofthe connecting rod and cap. 3.
