Para usar las fechas en inglés es necesario conocer vocabulario referente a días, meses y números ordinales:

En el idioma inglés, cuando se habla del tiempo de un evento se debe tener en cuenta:
1. Se usa in cuando se va a mencionar solamente el año de un evento > My English class is in 2020
2. Se usa in cuando se va a mencionar solamente el mes> My English class is in Apri
3. Se usa on cuando se va a mencionar solamente el día > My English class is on Monday
4. Sl se va a dar una fecha completa se usa on > My English class is on April 25th,
También se usa la forma Británica la cual sigue la misma estructura que en español > My English class is the 25th of April
5. Para hacer preguntas sobre el tiempo de un evento es muy importante la palabra When que significa cuándo
6. Tenga en cuenta que para las fechas en inglés se usan los números ordinales para los días ejemplo: Today is the 3rd of May
7. Los años en Inglés usan números cardinales normales y generalmente se leen en parejas Ejemplos: 1997 nineteen, ninety-seven,

When is your birthday? (¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?) > It’s on Monday (Es el lunes ) It´s in July (Es en Julio)
It´s on July 23rd ( Es en Julio 23) Inglés Británico> .It’s the 23rd of July
When was the party? (¿Cuándo fue la fiesta?) > It was on Sunday (Fué el domingo) It was in September (fue en septiembre)
It was on September 16th ( Fue en sptiembre 16) Inglés Británico> It was the 16th of September
When is the meeting? (¿Cuándo es la reunión?)> It’s on Thursday (Es el Jueves) It´s in January ( Es en enero)
