The Bulldozer Blade Has Too Much Travel Before the Quick-Drop Valve Is Activated Probable Causes 1. The orifice sleeve in the quick-drop valve is missing or suspect. 2. The quick-drop valve has a wrong spring or the quick-drop valve has too many shims 3. The orifices or the passages in the valve spool of the quick-drop valve are plugged with debris. 4, The valve spool of the quick-drop valve is stuck or the quick-drop valve is jammed with debris.
