La bóveda es un elemento arquitectónico que tiene
como función cubrir el espacio comprendido entre
dos muros o varios pilares. Con ella se consigue
reducir los elementos de sostén y disminuir el
peso del forjado o cubierta.

La bóveda se puede considerar como una

consecución de arcos, por ello su cálculo es muy
similar, pero tiene algunos elementos a considerar
con atención:

El mayor peligro de una bóveda es que esté

sometida a vibraciones, o sea, a esfuerzos
cambiantes, como por ejemplo el paso o
proximidad de vehículos pesados, o que soporte
maquinaria que puede transmitir tensiones
cambiantes a la bóveda, o incluso que esté expuesta a acciones sísmicas. Una gran parte
de las bóvedas estructurales se ha deteriorado por esta razón (sobre todo por la
proximidad de un vial rodado para vehículos pesados, los cuales a su paso transmiten
vibraciones a los asientos de estas bóvedas).

En una bóveda, además de atar su base (zunchar), cuanto más larga sea y/o más rebajada
se encuentre su clave, más necesidad tendremos de atirantarla y/o ponerle contrafuertes.

Otro gran peligro, muy generalizado hoy en día, es que su ejecución no sea exquisita, se
requiere de maestría para ejecutar una bóveda, algo que hoy en día es muy difícil
encontrar…

Hola soy la Arq. Fernanda Anaya necesito una cotización para un boveda catalana
con tabique rojo en forma piramidal ya que contiene vigas de acero que se cruzan
por el centro seria cuestión de mandarles los planos para que lo chequen, me urge
esta cotización
Espero su respuesta.
