the south with Sudan and to the west with Libya.
The natural regions of Egypt are: the Nile Valley, the Delta, the eastern and western
deserts, and the Sinai Peninsula.
Egypt is an extension of the great desert that extends from the Atlantic to the Red
Sea, in northern Africa. But in Egypt a decisive variant is introduced that is
determined by the presence of the Nile River, one of the first rivers in the world for
its length, which runs through the country from south to north in almost a thousand
kilometers, with fertile banks, whose width varies from One to twenty kilometers.
Towards Asiut it loses flow, due to the connection with a channel that diverts water
to Birket Qarun Lake, in El Fayum, and flows into the Mediterranean, forming a large

Among the ancient sports that were played in Egypt, we found wrestling and javelin
throwing which were the most common games practiced by the Egyptians. However,
swimming and rowing are the two games that also play during ancient times.
The most played and seen sport in Egypt today is football. Al Ahly and Zamalek Al are
