Abstract
Implementing a TMRB system (Massive Bus Rapid Transit) is a more preferable solution than a Tram, to the dilemma
of the Urban Public Transport that has been questioned so much in the city of Cuenca likewise that this transport
currently has damaged units, also of not provide service to people with disabilities, it is important by logical effect the
urgent need to improve the quality of this service in the environmental, social and economic aspects; with the purpose
or objective of making the Cuenca population aware of existing alternatives to decongest their urban mobility so that
they can mention their municipal representatives about their lack of dynamism inside and outside the capital of Azuay.
To analyze this alternative, an experimental-theoretical method was used, studying the relevant aspects to choose a
sustainable transport system, as well as detailing the objects or materials such as Tram, TMRB System, Buses and
Stations or Infrastructure, thus verifying that the correct choice is undoubtedly the TMRB for its fractional cost to a
tram, besides that it simulates the operation of the Four Rivers Projector, providing the same quality of service and
having similar advantages to this in the population.
