 ¿Que es NGN?

z La Red de Próxima Generación (NGN) es una red orientada al

servicio.

z A través de la separación de servicio y control de llamada, así

como del control de llamada y portadora, se implementa la

arquitectura de servicio independiente, la cual hace servicios

independientes de red.

z NGN es un tipo de arquitectura de red abierta y integrada.

z NGN es un tipo de red novísima integrando voz, datos, fax y

servicios de video.

z Como un producto SoftSwitch, el SoftX3000 está ubicado en la

capa de control de núcleo del proyecto de NGN.

z El SoftX3000 actúa como un Controlador de Llamada en la red

de conmutación de paquete, soporta la interoperabilidad entre

los dominios PSTN, H.323, SIP y MGCP.

z El SoftX3000 suministra control de portadora basada en H.248

y MGCP.

z En la solución NGN de Huawei, el SoftX3000 actúa como

núcleo de NGN, interoperando con otros componentes de

NGN a través de la red abierta que adopta los protocolos

estándares distribuidos.

 Resumen

z NGN se divide en cuatro capas: capa de acceso, capa de

transporte, capa de control y capa de servicio.
z NGN es la red jerárquica de cuatro capas basada en la transmisión
y conmutación de paquete. La interoperabilidad entre las diversas
capas se realiza a través de los protocolos estándares abiertos, los
cuales suministran NGN con ventajas y flexibilidad considerables.
z Ubicado en la capa de control de NGN, el SoftX3000 es el equipo de
control central en NGN para conmutación de informaciones. Se
utiliza para controlar la comunicación de varias MGWs.
z La transmisión y intercambio de ‘streams’ de informaciones entre
las MGWs no interrumpen el control de SoftX3000. Al contrario, él
está bajo el control de la capa de transporte.
