Martin Luther King, activista del siglo XX, conocido

principalmente por luchar pacíficamente, que a bien decir no
es una casualidad contra la segregación y discriminación racial
en los Estados Unidos. Hoy a los ochenta años de su
nacimiento y cinco décadas de su fallecimiento, en lo personal
no solo me adhiero al dolor que aun sus seres queridos
mantienen, a pesar de su larga ausencia, sino que
colocándome en sus zapatos justo en el presente contexto
histórico podría o podríamos decir lo mismo que dijo en esa
noche oscura del 4 de abril de 1968 en Memphis a los 39 años
de edad

“Yo tengo un sueño”, dijo el líder espiritual en ese momento.
Pues bien, me atrevería aseverar que al igual que este mártir
defensor de los que para esta tigre de papel no valemos, ni
tenemos derechos a vivir como todo ciudadano se lo merece.
La humanidad pide, clama y solicita que quiere vivir ese sueño
de hermandad, fraternidad, respeto por igual a todos, sin
arrebatar las esperanzas y las riquezas que por divina
naturaleza nuestro creador de la forma que lo palpemos nos
entregó.

Finalmente, en honor a su gloria, el mundo más que ayer, le

exige, a los que se creen los gendarme del universo, que nos
dejen vivir en paz, aunque al igual que King, no sea posible
que lleguemos a ver con nuestros familiares la tierra
prometida. De ser así, sería un logro por parte de los que
habitamos este planeta llamado tierra.

Nace el 15 de enero de 1929 en Atlanta y falleció el 4 de abril

de 1968 en Memphis a los 39 años de edad, conocido
principalmente por luchar pacíficamente contra la segregación
y discriminación racial en Estados Unidos.
