Mi rutina en ingls por la maana

Me despierto a las 6 en punto. I wake up at 6 oclock.

Me levanto a las 6:50. I get up at 6.50.

Me hago una taza de t y plancho la ropa. I make a cup of tea and iron my clothes.

Me ducho y me visto. I have a shower and get dressed.

Normalmente me pongo vaqueros, una blusa, un jersey o una chaqueta y unas botas en
invierno, o una falda y una blusa en verano. I usually wear jeans, a blouse, a jumper or
cardigan and boots in the winter, or a skirt and blouse in the summer. I brush my hair, put
on my make-up.

Me peino, me maquillo. Meto en mi bolso todo el material para clase. Luego me pongo el
abrigo y salgo de casa. Voy andando hasta la parada del autobs. Lo cojo a las 8:15, pago el
billete y me siento. Tardo unos 45 minutos en llegar a mi destino que est a tres millas.
Bajo del autobs y camino hasta el colegio donde enseo ingls. Tengo que fichar y coger
la llave. La clase empieza a las 9:25 y acaba a las 11:25.

I brush my hair, put on my make-up. I pack my bag with all my teaching materials. I then
put on my coat and leave the house. I walk to the bus stop. I catch the bus at 8.15, and then
I pay my fare and sit down. It takes about 45 minutes to get to my destination three miles
away. I get off the bus and walk to the school where I teach English. I have to sign in and
get the key. Class starts at 9.25 and ends at 11.25.

Mi rutina en ingls por la tarde

Almuerzo a las 12. Me como una baguette o un sndwich en la cafetera. A veces, antes de
volver al colegio hago algunas compras. Hago algunas fotocopias y vuelvo al aula. Por las
tardes doy clase de 13:00 a 15:00. Luego cojo el autobs y vuelvo a casa y me relajo un par
de horas antes de preparar la cena.

I have lunch at 12. I eat a baguette or sandwich at the local caf. I sometimes do some
shopping before I walk back to school. I do some photocopying and go back to my
classroom. I teach in the afternoon from 1 to 3pm. I then catch the bus back home and
spend a couple of hours relaxing before I cook dinner.

Mi hijo se va a trabajar poco despus de que yo llegue a casa. A veces hace l la cena antes
de que yo llegue y otras veces cocino yo. Me gusta comer arroz o pasta con salsa. Pico la
cebolla, la fro y la mezclo con ajo, tomate, zanahoria, espinacas y chiles. Hierbo el arroz y
luego aado la salsa. Despus de cenar friego, barro el suelo y recojo un poco.
My son goes to work shortly after I come home. Sometimes he cooks dinner before I get
home, and sometimes I cook. I like to eat rice or pasta with a sauce. I chop the onions, fry
them and then mix them with garlic, tomatoes, carrots, spinach and chilies. I boil the rice
and then add the sauce. After dinner I wash up, sweep the floor, and tidy up a bit.

Mi rutina en ingls por la noche

Luego llamo por telfono, corrijo el trabajo de mis alumnos, lavo la ropa. Despus me meto
en Facebook o veo la tele hasta las 22:30 cuando mi hijo vuelve a casa. Nos contamos el
da y sobre las once me acuesto.

Then I make phone calls, mark my students work, do the laundry. Then I go on Facebook,
or watch TV until about 10.30 when my son comes home. We catch up on our day, and at
about 11 oclock I go to bed.

Otros das me levanto antes, bajo, enciendo el ordenador y doy clase en EF English Live
durante tres horas. Luego hago una pausa, ceno con mi hijo, doy un paseo o salgo a
comprar antes de volver al trabajo y dar de nuevo tres horas de clase. Trabajar en casa
puede ser muy cmodo y me encanta poder hablar con gente de todo el mundo. Tambin es
agradable ir al colegio y ver a la gente y trabajar en equipo. As que creo que tengo lo mejor
de ambos trabajos.

Other days I get up early, go downstairs, put on my computer and teach on EF English
Live for three hours. Then I have a break, eat dinner with my son, have a walk or go
shopping before returning to work and teaching again for another three hours. Working at
home can be very convenient and I love being able to talk to people around the world. It is
also nice working in a school and seeing people on a regular basis and working in a team.
So I feel I have the best of both worlds.
