REINSTALACIN/ACTUALIZACIN DE FIRMWARE ENERGY SERIE 15

Antes de comenzar asegrate de que tu ordenador est libre de virus y de que el reproductor tiene
la batera totalmente cargada. Tambin es importante que hagas una copia de seguridad de los
archivos que estn en la memoria ya que a veces hay que formatear el dispositivo tras reinstalar el
firmware.
Instala en tu ordenador el software de actualizacin "Energy_15_Series_Update_Tool. Para ello
simplemente ejecuta el archivo SETUP.EXE y sigue los sencillos pasos que te indicar el asistente.
Importante: No desconectes el reproductor ni apagues el ordenador mientras se realiza la
actualizacin.
Para reinstalar/actualizar el firmware de tu ENERGY Serie 15 sigue los siguientes pasos en orden:
1.- Inicia el programa de actualizacin de firmware "Mass Product Tool" desde el men inicio
de Windows.

2.- Conecta tu MP3 Serie 15 al ordenador y comprueba que el programa detecta

correctamente al dispositivo.

3.- Pulsa sobre "Import Firmware".

4.- Pulsa el botn indicado en verde en la imagen y selecciona el fichero de firmware con
extensin .FW que has descargado de la web.

Nota: Asegrate de que el firmware que te has descargado de la web es especfico para el nmero
de serie de tu Energy Serie 15, ya que si instalas el firmware incorrecto el dispositivo podra dejar
de funcionar correctamente.

5.- Pulsa sobre el botn Replace y selecciona S cuando aparezca el siguiente mensaje:

6.- Selecciona "Download" para que se inicie la actualizacin de firmware.

7.- Una vez el proceso haya finalizado con xito el contador Passed se incrementar
mostrando el nmero 1. En caso que el firmware estuviera corrupto, o que la actualizacin
no se hubiese completado con xito, por favor repite los pasos 1 a 6.

8.- Una vez finalizado el proceso, tu MP3 Serie 15 se reiniciar y ya podrs desconectarlo del
ordenador.

ENERGY 15 SERIES FIRMWARE REINSTALLATION/UPGRADE

First of all make sure that your computer is virus free and that your player is fully charged. It's also
important to make a backup of your files from the player's memory because they usually need to be
removed after upgrading the firmware.
Install in your computer the update program "Energy_15_Series_Update_Tool. To do it, just run
the SETUP.EXE file and follow the easy instructions of the installation wizard.
Important: Do not unplug the player or turn off the computer during the update.

To upgrade the firmware of your ENERGY 15 Series please follow these steps:
1.- Start the firmware update software "Mass Product Tool" from the Windows Start menu.

2.- Connect your MP3 player to the computer and make sure the software detects the device.

3.- Click on "Import Firmware"

4.- Select the button enhanced in green in the image and select the .FW firmware file you
have downloaded from the web.

Note: Make sure the firmware you downloaded from the web is specific for the serial number of
your Energy 15 Series, because if you install an incorrect version the device could stop working
properly.

5.- Click on the Replace button and select Yes when the following message will appear:

6.- Click on "Download" to start the firmware update process.

7.- Once the upgrade process is finish successfully the Passed counter will increase
showing the number 1. In case the firmware was corrupt, or the update process not ended
successfully, please repeat steps 1 to 6.

8.- Once the process is finished your MP3 15 Series player will restart and you will be able to
disconnect it from the computer.
