Informacin til para alumnos internacionales

Alojamiento
Las opciones de alojamiento sugeridas son:
o Casas en el Barrio Universitario de la UNS (sujeto a capacidad).
o Programa de Alojamiento para Estudiantes Internacionales UNS
o Hotel Egeo http://www.hotelegeo.com.ar
o Hotel Muiz http://www.hotelmuniz.com.ar/

Para aquellos que deseen alojarse en el Barrio Universitario, el monto mensual de
alquiler de la casa por estudiante, segn Resolucin CSU-519/08, actualmente
asciende a AR$ 700, ms la suma de AR$ 500 en concepto de garanta que sern
devueltos al retirarse, ms la suma de AR$ 200 en concepto limpieza general y
lavado de abrigo de cama.
Los alumnos del Programa JIMA (Mxico), MACA (Colombia), del Programa IAESTE
(MINCyT) y de la Universidad de Graz (Austria) estn exentos de este pago del alquiler
mensual de acuerdo con el Convenio vigente, pero si debern abonar la garanta y el
importe de limpieza general y lavado de abrigo de cama.
No se proveen toallas ni sbanas en ninguna de las opciones.
Los estudiantes que se alojen en las Casas del Barrio Universitario de la UNS debern
firmar a su llegada el contrato y el reglamento de convivencia.

NOTA: Es necesario que los estudiantes comuniquen con 45 das de anticipacin la opcin de
alojamiento elegida a la SSRRII, movilidad.internacionales@uns.edu.ar

Documentacin
Todos los alumnos debern presentar ante la SSRRII la siguiente documentacin antes de que
transcurra un mes de su llegada:
Copia de la Residencia como estudiante: se adjunta el detalle de la documentacin que
debern traer los estudiantes de sus pases para poder gestionar la residencia como
estudiante en Argentina (ver archivo Requisitos Migraciones.pdf).
Copia del Seguro mdico de cobertura internacional.
Documentos originales previamente enviados en formato pdf al momento de solicitar
admisin.

NOTA: En caso de no cumplir con la presentacin de la documentacin en tiempo y forma,
no se expedir el correspondiente certificado de estudio al concluir el perodo de
intercambio.


Llegada al pas
Se recomienda que los alumnos lleguen a nuestra institucin la semana anterior al
comienzo de las clases (Verificar el Calendario Acadmico en la pgina de la
Universidad www.uns.edu.ar ).

El personal de la UNS podr ir a recibirlos siempre y cuando el arribo sea en horario de oficina
(das hbiles de 8 a 15 hs) y se comunique con la suficiente anticipacin el da, la hora y el
medio de transporte en que arribar el estudiante a la SSRRII,

La Comisin Anfitriona para Alumnos Internacionales caai@uns.edu.ar - (integrada
por ex alumnos de intercambio de la UNS) se contactar con uds. para orientarlos y
ayudarlos en su insercin en el mbito universitario.

La SSRRII organiza el viernes previo al inicio de cada semestre por la maana una
Jornada de Recepcin y Orientacin de Estudiantes Internacionales la cual es de
asistencia obligatoria.

La Subsecretara ofrecer a los estudiantes internacionales de habla no hispana cursos
de idioma espaol para extranjeros en el marco del Programa de Idioma Ingls de la
UNS. Les solicitamos manifiesten su inters en participar a la SSRRII,
movilidad.internacionales@uns.edu.ar

Se organizan adems reuniones de Cultura Argentina tanto para estudiantes
internacionales de habla hispana como de habla no hispana.


Useful information for International Students
Accommodation:
Suggested accommodation options are:
o UNS student houses located at the University neighbourhood.
o Shared Accommodation Program.
o Hotel Egeo http://www.hotelegeo.com.ar
o Hotel Muiz http://www.hotelmuniz.com.ar/

For those who would like to stay at the student houses the cost for a shared room is
AR$ 700 per month, plus AR $500 of the guarantee that will be returned while
leaving the house, plus AR $200 for a general cleaning of the houses and laundering
the bed linen.
According to the current agreement, JIMA (Mxico), MACA (Colombia), IAESTE
(MINCyT) and University of Graz (Austria) students have free accommodation in the
houses, but must pay the guarantee and the amount of general cleaning and
laundering of bed linen.
Towels and bed sheets are not provided in none of the options.
It is necessary for students who stay at the UNS houses to sign a co-habitation
contract.


IMPORTANT: International students must confirm 45 days in advance the selected
accommodation option by email to movilidad.internacionales@uns.edu.ar.

Documents
All students must submit to the SSRRII (Deputy Secretariat of International Relations) the
following documents, one month after arriving in the country at the latest:

Copy of the Student residency permit: we enclose the detailed documentation that
students must bring from their country of origin to arrange the residency permit in
Argentina (see Requisitos Migraciones.pdf).
Copy of the Full international health insurance.
Passport.

NOTE: In case of not submitting the documentation in a timely manner, the corresponding
certificate of studies will not be issued at the end of the exchange semester.



Arrival to the country
We recommend arriving at our institution the week before the start of courses (see
the academic calendar on the university website www.uns.edu.ar).
UNS staff will receive students at the airport/bus station if they arrive during office
hours (working days from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm). Students should inform well in advance
by email to movilidad.internacionales@uns.edu.ar the date, mean of transport, and
time of arrival.
The Welcoming Committee for International Students -caai@uns.edu.ar- will contact
students to provide orientation and assistance with regard to insertion to university
life.
The SSRRII organizes in the morning of the previous Friday to the beginning of each
semester a Reception and Orientation Day for International Students. Attendance to
this meeting is compulsory.
The SSRRII offers to non-Spanish speaking international students a Spanish as a Foreign
Language (SFL) course at the English Language Program of the UNS. We request you
to express your interest in participating by email to
movilidad.internacionales@uns.edu.ar.
Argentine Culture meetings are also organized for both Spanish and non-Spanish
speaking international students.
