Any time of day is perfect to enjoy the sea in Cancun. In the morning the much talked about bright and soft shades of the sparkling, turquoise blue water can be observed, intensifying their tones after midday and darkening to a deep blue at nightfall.

Estas coloridas aguas pueden disfrutarse al realizar alguna de las tantas actividades acuticas que se ofrecen como son: bucear, espeleobucear en cenotes de da o de noche, practicar snorkel, pescar y pasear en barcos o catamaranes. Para aquellas personas aventureras se cuenta con: el parasailing, deportes motorizados, wind surf, jungle y mangrove tours o el paseo en embarcaciones con fondo de cristal o burbujas subacuticas para explorar el fondo del mar. These colourful waters can be enjoyed while practicing any of the many water sports available, such as: scuba diving, cave diving by day or at night, snorkelling, fishing and boat or catamaran cruises. For the adventurous there is: parasailing, motorized sports, windsurfing, jungle and mangrove tours, or tours in glass bottom boats or underwater bubbles for exploring the sea bottom. Reputable companies organize the most incredible tours, with professional and expert operators, excellent fleets and state of the art technology. Cancun has a well trained and competitive nautical infrastructure with numerous certified marinas. The nautical sector is constantly improving its facilities and equipment, investing in new technology, biodegradable supplies and the implementation of ecological, operational practices.

Las aguas del mar Caribe son el hbitat temporal de asombrosos y nicos animales como el pez vela que puede ser admirado entre los meses de enero a junio. Otra experiencia inolvidable es realizar el emocionante nado con tiburones ballena, inofensivos animales que llegan a medir hasta 15 metros, se alimentan de plancton y pasean plcidamente por las aguas caribeas durante los meses de mayo a septiembre. Actualmente se est creando el Museo Escultrico Subacutico de Cancn, que ser el ms grande del mundo en su tipo. Este museo est a cargo del escultor britnico Jason de Caires Taylor e incluir la representacin de un ejrcito maya y otras obras inspiradas en la cultura de la regin. Este museo funciona como sitio alterno de snorkel y buceo, sumndose a la larga lista de divertidas y emocionantes actividades marinas, complemento enriquecedor para gozar unas vacaciones realmente inolvidables. The waters of the Caribbean Sea are the temporary habitat of amazing and unique animals such as sailfish, which can be admired between the months of January and June. Another unforgettable experience is the exciting swim with whale sharks, inoffensive animals that can measure up to 49 feet and feed on plankton while peacefully passing through the waters of the Caribbean between the months of May and September. At the moment the Cancun Underwater Sculpture Museum is being created, promising to be the largest of its kind in the world. The British sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor is in charge of the museum, which will include a representation of a Mayan army and other works inspired by the regions culture. This museum will operate as an alternative location for snorkelling and scuba diving, complementing the long list of available fun and exciting marine activities and will surely be an enriching way to enjoy really unforgettable vacations.
