Presente Simple en Ingls

Se utiliza para describir acciones habituales que suceden con cierta frecuencia y no hace referencia a si est ocurriendo en el momento actual.

Ejemplos:

Yo estudio ingls todos los das


Ella ve televisin a las 9 pm

Oraciones positivas

Sujeto + verbo principal en presente simple + complemento

Ejemplos:

I study English every day


She watches TV at 9 pm

Es de resaltar que si se utilizan los pronombres personales SHE, HE, IT, sustantivos en singular o nombres comunes (perro, mesa, casa), nombres
propios (Maria, Carlos) el verbo sufre modificaciones segn los siguientes criterios:

Si el verbo termina en X, SH, CH, O, SS, se le debe agregar al final "ES"

Ejemplos:

Fix = Fixes
Wash = Washes
Catch = Catches
Miss = Misses
Go = Goes

Si el verbo termina en combinacin diferente a X, SH, CH, O, SS, se le debe agregar al final "S"

Ejemplos:

Work = Works

Clean = Cleans
Know = Knows
Call = Calls
Send = Sends

Si el verbo termina en "Y" pero antes tiene una vocal, se le agrega "S" al final

Ejemplos:

Play = Plays
Stay = Stays

Si el verbo termina en "Y" pero antes tiene una consonante, se elimina la "Y" y se agrega "IES"

Ejemplos:

Fly = Flies
Study = Studies

NOTA: Estos criterios son solo aplicables en oraciones positivas en presente simple

Oraciones Negativas

Sujeto + Auxiliar "do" o "does" + NOT + verbo en su forma base + complemento

Ejemplos:

I do not study English every day


She does not watch TV at 9 pm

IMPORTANTE: Los pronombres personales I, YOU, WE, THEY van con el auxiliar "do" y los pronombres personales SHE, HE, IT van con el
auxiliar "does".
Por otra parte, si se quiere hacer la contraccin (unin) del auxiliar con la negacin, quedara de la siguiente manera:

I don't study English every day


She doesn't watch TV at 9 pm

Preguntas Simples

Auxiliar "do" o "does" + sujeto + verbo en su forma base + complemento + ?

Ejemplos:

Do you study English every day?


Does she watch TV at 9 pm?

Respuestas Cortas

Si es POSITIVA: Yes + , + sujeto + auxiliar "do" o "does"


Ejemplos:

Yes, I do.
Yes, she does.

Si es NEGATIVA: No + , + sujeto + auxiliar "do" o "does" + NOT


Ejemplos:

No, I do not / don't


No, she does not / doesn't

Respuestas Largas

Si es POSITIVA: Yes + , + oracin positiva en presente simple (ver en la parte incial como se forman las oraciones positivas en presente
simple)
Ejemplos:

Yes, I study English every day


Yes, she watches TV at 9 pm

Si es NEGATIVA: No + , + oracin negativa en presente simple (ver en la parte inicial como se forman las oraciones negativas en presente
simple)
Ejemplos:

No, I do not / don't study English every day


No, she does not / doesn't watch TV at 9 pm

Preguntas con WH: Palabra interrogativa [Who (Quin), What (Qu), Where (Dnde), When (Cundo), Why (Por qu)] + auxiliar "do" o "does" + sujeto
+ verbo en su forma base + complemento + ?

IMPORTANTE: Si se usa la palabra interrogativa WHO, no se coloca sujeto en la pregunta

Ejemplo:

Who does watch TV at 9 pm?


Respuesta: She watches TV at 9 pm

Si se usa la palabra interrogativa WHAT, regularmente no se coloca el complemento en la pregunta

Ejemplo:

What do you study every day?


Respuesta: I study English every day

Si se usa la palabra interrogativa WHEN, no se coloca frase de tiempo en la pregunta

Ejemplo:

When do you study English?


Respuesta: I study English every day

Si se usa la palabra interrogativa WHERE, no se coloca lugar en la pregunta

Ejemplo:

Where do you study English every day?

Respuesta: I study English at home every day

Si se usa la palabra interrogativa WHY, se debe responder con BECAUSE

Ejemplo:

Why do you study English every day?


Respuesta: Because I like it

Pon los verbos entre parntesis en la forma correcta del Present Simple, segn sean afirmativos, interrogativos o negativos.

Pasado Simple en Ingls


Se utiliza para describir acciones pasadas que tuvieron lugar en determinado momento y que ya han finalizado.

Ejemplos:

Yo jugu beisbol ayer


Ellos estudiaron matemticas la semana pasada

Oraciones positivas

Sujeto + verbo principal en pasado simple + complemento

Ejemplos:

I played baseball yesterday


They studied Math last week

Oraciones Negativas

Sujeto + Auxiliar "did" + NOT + verbo en su forma base + complemento

Ejemplos:

I did not play baseball yesterday


They did not study Math last week

IMPORTANTE: si se quiere hacer la contraccin (unin) del auxiliar con la negacin, quedara de la siguiente manera:

I didn't play baseball yesterday


They didn't study Math last week
