Requerimientos de instalacin / Installation requirements

Para obtener el mximo rendimiento de
su fluxmetro, la presin esttica
mnima de trabajo debe ser de 1 kg/cm2
(14PSI) hasta 3 kg/cm2 (42,7PSI).

To obtain the maximum performance of

your flush valve, the minimum static
pressure of work should be from 1 kg/cm2
(14PSI) up to 3 k g/cm2 (42,7PSI).

Todos los muebles con fluxmetro

deben protegerse con cmaras de aire,
o cualquier otro dispositivo
amortiguador para el golpe de ariete.

All bathroom furniture operated with a

flush valve should be protected with
hammer arestor, or any other device that
a absorbs water hammer.

En caso de cmaras de aire, stas

deben ser hechas con el tubo del mismo
dimetro que el tubo de alimentacin 32
mm (1-1/4) al mueble y tener una altura
mnima de 60 cm despus de la
conexin que alimenta al mueble
sanitario.

In the case of air chambers, these

should be made with tube of the same
diameter or the fixture feeding tube of
32 mm (1-1/4) and have a minimum
height of 60 cm above the connection
that feeds the fixture.

connect the stop body (1) to the supply

Conecte el cuerpo del fluxmetro (2) a la
llave de retencin (1), el codo (4), el
niple (5), el chapetn (6), la tuerca (7),
rondana de fibra(10) y rondana de hule
(11).

Connect the flush valve body (2) to the

stop body (1), the elbow (4), the nipple
(5), the escutcheon (6) and the nut (7),
the fiber washer (10) and rubber washer
(11).

Ensamble el codo (8), las tuercas (9),

los chapetones (6), las rondanas de
fibra (10) y las rondanas de hule (11).

Assemble the elbow (8) the nuts (9),the

escutcheons (6) the fibers washer
(10) and the rubbers washer (11).

Instale el codo (8) y los chapetones (6)

al mueble y apriete las tuercas de
sujecin (9).

Install the elbow (8) and the

escuctcheons (6) to the fixture, tighten
the fixing nuts (9).

Recomendaciones de instalacin
Installation recommendations
Es necesario purgar la linea de
alimentacin de agua cuando se coloca
por primera vez el fluxometro y sobre
todo si se instala en una obra nueva.

It is necessary to purge the feeding lines

when the flush valve is installed for the
first time and mainly if the construction
is new.

Para purgar la linea de alimentacin,

retire el tapn, cierre la llave de
retencin, quite la cpula, saque el
mbolo, vuelva a colocar la cpula y
abra la llave de retencin dejando correr
el agua para eliminar impurezas.

In order to purge the supply line remove

the plug , close the stop body , remove
the cover , take the piston out , put the
cover back in place againg and open the
stop body let the water run in order to
eliminate sludge.

Al finalizar la limpieza de la lnea de

alimentacin, cierre la llave de
retencin, quite la cpula , coloque el
mbolo y la cpula nuevamente, y abra
la llave de retencin .Coloque
nuevamente el Tapn de la llave de
retencin.

After purging the supply line close the

stop body, remove the cover, set the
piston and cover back in place open the
stop body and place its plug back.

Operacin del fluxmetro / Flush valve operation

Para obtener una descarga de su
fluxmetro accione el pedal una sola
vez. Su fluxmetro descargara un
volumen de agua de 5,5 a 6,0 litros.

In order to obtain a discharge of the flush

valve activate the pedal a single time.
The flush valve will discharge a volume
of 5,5 to 6,0 liters of water.

Recomendaciones de mantenimiento
Maintenance recommendations

1.- Limpieza de embolo

Desarme el embolo como muestra la
figura y limpielo de posibles impurezas

1.- Pistos cleaning.

Disassemble the piston as show in i the
drawing and clean any studge.

2.- Revisin de empaques del pedal.

Rubber washer

Desarme el pedal como muestra la

figura, verifique que no este degastado
el empaque cnico y la rondana de hule
y limpielos de posibles impurezas.

2.- Pedal gaskets maintenance.

Disassemble the pedal as shown in the
drawing, verify that the conical gasket
and the rubber washer are not worn out
the clean any studge.

Es muy importante seguir las siguientes instrucciones para conservar los

2. No utilizar fibras ni polvos abrasivos.
3. No utilice objetos punzo-cortantes para limpiar los acabados.

1. Only use a clean cloth and tap water for cleaning.
2. Dont use any kind of abrasive products or fibers.
3. Dont use any sharp or pointed objects to clean the finished surfaces.
