RESUMEN

Este trabajo pretende servir de referencia a aquellas personas que

deseen tener una visin del proceso de diseo de un Sistema Contra
Incendio. Por la naturaleza de este trabajo, se har hincapi en
consultar detenidamente ms material de apoyo.
La monografa est dividida en un cierto nmero de pasos que
pueden ser comprimidos en funcin de la experiencia del diseador
o las necesidades del cliente, basados en las normas del RNE. Se
comenzar con el anlisis de la situacin actual para determinar las
condiciones de la instalacin. Luego se proceder al diseo del
sistema, el cual se basa en las normas RNE las cuales recogen las
recomendaciones mnimas de seguridad y proteccin que deben
tomarse en cuenta para proteger un rea, usando una combinacin
de sistemas y equipos: mangueras, extintores y rociadores. Esta
parte contendr los clculos correspondientes al diseo.
Posteriormente se realizar la seleccin de los materiales para
poder hacer los planos correspondientes a la instalacin.
Las instalaciones de proteccin contra incendios en determinados
tipos de edificios requieren el almacenamiento y distribucin de
agua hasta puntos cercanos a las zonas habitadas para su uso en
caso de un posible fuego accidental. Dichos sistemas por
definicin, mantienen el agua estancada hasta el momento de uso.
Desde el punto de vista de los riesgos de Legionella hay varios
tipos de problemas potenciales listados en orden de importancia.

SUMMARY
This work is intended to serve as a reference to those people who
want to have a vision of the design process of a system against fire.
Because of the nature of this work, the emphasis will be on consult
carefully more supporting material.
The monograph is divided into a number of steps that can be
compressed depending on the experience of the designer or the
client's needs, based on the rules of the RNE. It will begin with the
analysis of the current situation to determine the conditions of the
installation.
Then proceed to the design of the system, which is based on the
rules RNE which incorporate the minimum recommendations for
security and protection that must be taken into account to protect
an area, using a combination of systems and equipment: hoses, fire
extinguishers and sprinklers. This part will contain the calculations

for the design. Subsequently the selection will be made of the

materials in order to make the drawings for the installation.
Fire protection installations in certain types of buildings require the
storage and distribution of water to nearby points to the inhabited
areas for use in case of a possible accidental fire. These systems by
definition, maintain the stagnant water until the time of use. From
the point of view of the risks from Legionella there are several
types of potential problems listed in order of importance.
