SYSTEM FOR OBSERVING FITNESS INSTRUCTION TIME (SOFIT)
MVPA includes walking with a purpose, bending, stretching to reach,
catching, throwing, balancing (if done for more than 5 seconds within each
10 sec interval)
Modified SOFIT Form enables researchers, teachers, and supervisors to make
judgments about physical education lessons. Every 10 seconds you will record whether
one student spent 5+ seconds in MVPA (moderate-to-vigorous physical activity).
