El origen de GRUPO SALMERN se remonta al ao 1986, con la apertura de un pequeo taller de carpintera metlica. En 1990, la empresa comenz a desarrollar la actividad de fabricacin y comercializacin de remolques. Este saber hacer se ha ido ampliando progresivamente a otras actividades de transformacin del metal. El cambio en la oferta de GRUPO SALMERN se consolid definitivamente en 1997 con la creacin del Departamento Tcnico, dando un paso adelante en la construccin de estructuras metlicas, ofreciendo las soluciones tcnicas ms adecuadas a cada cliente. GRUPO SALMERN es una empresa andaluza, pionera en el sector de edificacin industrial y estructuras metlicas, que basa su sistema de trabajo en la optimizacin de los procesos. Para poder conseguir este objetivo, contamos con la ltima tecnologa del sector, lo cual garantiza la calidad en el proceso de fabricacin, permitiendonos trabajar en un mercado tan exigente como el de las plantas industriales, centrales trmicas y termosolares. SALMERN ESTRUCTURAS METLICAS It is a company devoted to the manufacturing and assembly of metal structures. It has a human team with a wide experience, and with the necessary technical equipment for the development of projects of the maximum complexity. Beyond the mere compliance with legislation, the management of GRUPO SALMERN, working together with the representatives of its workers, does its best to reach an excellence level in safety and health in work. SALMERN SISTEMAS If focuses in the sale and assembly of a wide range of products, such as industrial doors, closures, and all types of architectonic systems which conform the exterior of a constructive project. SISTEMA DE TRABAJO Un sistema de gestin de la calidad definido en nuestros manuales de calidad y procedimientos. Un Plan de Puntos de Inspeccin definido y consensuado desde el inicio de los trabajos. Procedimientos de Soldadura Homologados EN15614 Los recursos humanos adecuadamente formados y homologados. Soldadores homologados EN 287-3 Personal E.N.D certificado por CERTIAEND segn EN 473 Certificados de todos los materiales empleados en el proceso. Se asumir y potenciar la integracin de la seguridad en el proceso de produccin, estableciendo como principio bsico que la mejor productividad se consigue con la mayor seguridad. La mejora continua en la accin preventiva slo puede conseguirse mediante la informacin, consulta y participacin del personal en todos los niveles y en todas las direcciones, as como en la formacin necesaria. La Poltica de Prevencin de GRUPO SALMERN tiene como objetivo la promocin de la mejora de las condiciones de trabajo, con el fin de elevar los niveles de la seguridad, salud y bienestar de los trabajadores. Para lograr una eficaz implantacin de la poltica de prevencin de riesgos laborales en GRUPO SALMERN se asignan los recursos necesarios y se planifica de manera adecuada la utilizacin de los mismos. The integration of the safety in the production process will be assumed and promoted, establishing as a basic principle that the best productivity is achieved with the greatest safety. The continuous improvement in the preventive action can only be achieved by means of the information, query and participation of the staff in all levels and in all senses, and by means of the necessary training. The Prevention Policy of GRUPO SALMERN has the objective of the promotion of the improvement of the work conditions, in order to increase the safety, health and welfare levels of the workers. In order to achieve an effective implementation of the policy of labour risks prevention in GRUPO SALMERN, the necessary resources are assigned, and the use of the same is suitably plannified. La oficina tcnica cuenta con un software especifico del sector de las estructuras metlicas, XSTEEL, con el que se obtienen los planos de corte, ensamblaje y montaje en obra. Modelada la estructura, la informacin de este modelo es importada a los CNCS de los centros de mecanizado, para realizar los procesos de mecanizado, corte, sierra, taladro, tallo trmico y oxicorte. Fbrica: Se ha diseado un proceso continuo de formacin que permite que el personal de nuestra empresa se encuentre capacitado para la fabricacin de todo tipo de estructuras, pudiendo ofrecer un producto completo y perfectamente adaptado a las necesidades del cliente. Montaje: Grupo Salmern dispone de un grupo de montadores ampliamente cualificados as como de soldadores homologados que garantizan en todo momento la perfecta ejecucin de los trabajos ejecutados en obra, con unos medios auxiliares propios.

Jams pens encontrar en Espaa, en Granada, en Huneja-La Huertezuela, una gente con un nivel tcnico tan alto, que me parecieron casi alemanes. Cuando cada da desembarcaban en las obras del Centro Cultural CajaGRANADA Memoria de Andaluca, para hacer la rampa helicoidal del patio elptico, los 5 astronautas de Salmern, vestidos con monos blancos y haciendo un trabajo con tan increble precisin, me pareca estar dentro de 2001: Odisea del espacio. Su director, Federico Hernndez, un joven y estupendo ingeniero granadino, debera estar trabajando en o para la NASA. La planta AndaSol 1, ubicada en Guadix (Granada), es una instalacin con fuente de energa termosolar y tecnologa de colectores cilndrico-parablicos que alimenta un ciclo de vapor de 50 MW de potencia elctrica.
