Tourism
South Africa has a great variety of attractions and places to visit. From big safaris to modern cities South Coast beach is perfect for taking calm walks across miles of white sand with out spotting a single person. Durban is a city full of fun and great activities to do. It has world-class hotels and perfect beaches for surfing. Durban is recognized for its modern architecture, and for its interesting museums of its history. Its harbor is the busiest in South Africa and one of the 10 largest ports in the world.

The South American music came from instruments made of mainly trees. The Khoi-Khoi created the ramkie, made of branches, plastic bottles, and strings. This instrument was created with the purpose to blend Khoi-Khoi and Western folk songs. Another instrument was the mamokhorong. This was a singlestring violin used by the Khoi-Khoi to make their own music and to interpret their cultural dances. Western music was played by a slave orchestra. The vocal music is the oldest traditional music from South Africa. Before the drums were known in South Africa, there were some mouth instruments such as the mouth bow. Later many other instruments were developed such as the mbira, or thumb-piano, mainly from Zimbabwe.

Music

Animals
The most known in South Africa are the mammals, they are called the Big Five and in that group is the elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. The savanna region is still home of a many mammals. The white rhino was brought back of the animals in danger of extinction, now they are starting with the black rhino.

The lion is consider one of the big cats but unfortunately it have a huge enemy called Humans. The humans have expelled out from their habitat. Now the lion lives in conservations areas. The leopard is also in these group and it lives much is the Southern Cap and far north of the country. The cheetah is one of the fastest animal in the world. It run 100 kilometers an hour. Its population is small and it lives far north in the Kgaladadi Transfrontier Park

In south Africa there is a huge variety of animals. In the Kruger National Park the giraffe, hyena, impala, warthog, tortoise. This is a Park that is Larger than Israel, it has nearly 2 million hectares stretched from north to south. They are about 299 mammal species in South Africa, 2 are critically endangered and 11 are endangered, 15 are vulnerable and 13 are near threatened. The critically endangered animals are the De Winston's Golden Mole and the Riverine Rabbit

Religion

South Africa has a variety of religions like Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, which we brought by the Europeans and Asians. They also have their Traditional Religion, in which they believe in ancestor. About 80% of Africans in South Africa are Christians, and most are protestants. There is about 1.5% of the population that are Hindu and another 1.5% that are Muslim. Hindus 1%, Muslims 1% and Jews 0.2%. The Muslim population in South Africa is small, but growing strongly. South African government doesn't prohibit religion groups.
