VALUE OF CSV ACTIVITIES FOR THE NESTLe BANGLADESH


Nestle Bangladesh do many social activities. But for nestle Bangladesh, they call this activities CSV. Which mean CREATING SHARED VALUE. For the last two years they call it as CSV. CSV means a lot of for the nestle. As we know the company is one of the leading company of producing dairy food item, so they have to concern about the society. Most their product are baby foods, so they need a good response from the society. And the best way is the CSV.

Pure water solutions


Nestle Bangladesh has some activities to ensure the safe and pure water in the rural areas. In Vola, Hobigong, jamalpur, they already take necessary steps to provide pure water. At this project they want to ensure:

Germs free water Arsenic free water Safe use of water Prevent water pollutions

Nestle has taken some action for the problems. By these activities their aim is to develop a good sanitation system for the healthy environment. In this project they ensure; Better sanitation system Health awareness Free from any disease

Nutrition problem is one of the main reason to death of many people in the rural areas. The activities are for a period of 6 month. They want to ensure: Reduce malnutrition problem Provide nutrition based food People awareness in malnutrition

Overcome natural calamity


Nestle now also focused on overcome on nature calamities. In the time of SIDOR, they gave relief in the affected areas. Although in the fire tragedy in Nimtoly, they rises fund for fast overcome. As we know Nestle is a dairy based company, so in Bangladesh they also wants to development in the dairy sector. Now they have the plan to buy the MILK VITA. Their aim is to: Capture the dairy sectors Development in this sector Ensure good dairy product

Giving scholarship to the students


One of the main CSV activities is giving merit scholarship to the poor students. Nestle give more than 500000tk to the poor but meritorious student. All these activities take place outside of DHAKA. BY this activities they have: Student welfare Inspire on education Social development

Farmers training programs


Nestle is a food producing company. So they want to give training and better feedback to the farmers, so that they can increase the production. They give training on: Hybrid crop cultivation using the chemicals in the land Proper use of fertilizers Proper guidance

Rural development
They have plan to reduce the illiterate percentages in the rural areas. Also they are going to spend 6000000tk to improve the life style of the people in rural areas. Their target is to: Structure development Change life style Proper knowledge about development

Future plan

Now they have no future plan on CSV. But they tell us that they have a big plan to capture the dairy sector in Bangladesh. And they want to buy the MILK VITA. But our government not still allow it.

RECOMENDATION
we can tell that Nestle has some, that are social activities and the activities are really good for our country as well as for the company. They have to: Built strong relationship to the customer More focused on dairy sectors Arrange more awareness program Do their CSV activities around Bangladesh Give more importance on baby food
