We are to build our “Islam” on five
Arkaan (pillars)
One of the Arkaan is “To perform the
Hajj to the House for those who are
able”

“The first House (of Worship)

appointed for men was that at
Bakka (Makkah), full of blessing
and of guidance for all kinds of
beings: In it are Signs Manifest;
(for example) the Station of
Ibrahim; whoever enters it
attains security; pilgrimage
thereto is a duty men owe to
Allah – those who can afford the
journey; but if any deny faith,
Allah stands not in need of any of
His creatures.”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imraan: 3: 96)

among men: they will come to
thee on foot and (mounted) on
every kind of camel, lean on
account of journeys through deep
and distant mountain highways;

Ikhlash - Sincerity of
intention.
“Tawbah”
Tawbah - Repentance to Allah
and seeking forgiveness from
whomsoever you have wronged.
“Tawsiyyah”
Tawsiyyah - Leaving a will or
advise (for those left behind).
Getting permission & du’a of
parents, husbands &
teachers/Ulama’.

“Tazaw-wadu”
aw-wadu -Prepare
adequate provisions.
“Istikharah”
Istikharah - seeking
Allah’s guidance.
“Ta’alum”
Ta’alum -Learning the
“Manasik” -rules of the
rites of pilgrimage.
Choosing good
companions and
knowledgeable guides. 8

“La-tansa zikrullaah”
zikrullaah –
Do not forget to always
remember Allah.
“Falaa rafatha”
rafatha – let
there be no lewdness.
“Wa-laa fu-suuqa”
fu-suuqa - and
commit no sins or
transgression.
“Wa-laa jidaal”
jidaal – and no
arguments or

Respect the Host (TaqwaAllaah)
Respect the Host’s Place
(Sha-’aa-iril-laah)
Respect the program which has
been sanctioned by our Host
Respect fellow guests of the Host
(Duyufur-RaHmaan)
Respect our ownselves

Answering Allah’s call, as His
obedient servants & guests.
To be shown His Signs that
we may benefit from it and
be developed (educated)
further as Muslims.
To attain “Hajjan Mabrura,
wa-sa’-yan mash-kuu-ra, wa-
zam-ban magh-fuu-ra, wa-ti
jaa-ratan lan-tabur”
