There are 7th Steps of HRA , a semi quantitative approach Outcome of HRA : 1. Contain overall risk characteristic at covered area 2. Action plan and recommendation 3. Personnel Exposed List /Similar Exposure Group (SEG) 4. Medical check up reference 5. Hazard mapping
HRA Methodology
Health hazards
Manual handling * Repetitive movements Working positions Hydrocarbons: Benzene *, toluene, xylenes, etc. Acids: HCl, HF, etc. Gas: H2S, CO, NH3 Fibers: asbestos

RISK
Potential Risk Rp = F + P +S
Frequency + Probability + Severity
Residual Risk Rr = Rp Mp
Potential Risk Protective Measures
Potential Risk Rp = F + P +S
Probability
Probability of occurrence of an undesirable event: accident, accidental or chronic exposure, burns, ignition of products, infectious disease, etc. The probability is estimated based on historical data (i.e., events already reported) or expert judgment: product volatility, opportunity for contact with the product, quantity of product, particle size of product (for solids); opportunity for contact with an energy source; contact with a source of biological contamination; workstation design, etc.
Potential Risk Rp = F + P +S
Severity
The principle of rating the severity of health hazards is defined according to the intrinsic properties of an agent (chemical, biological, physical, etc.) and the effects it may have on the individuals exposed.
Potential Risk Rp = F + P +S
Means of protection: Rr = Rp Mp
Residual Risk Rr = Rp Mp
