Internet is one of the major innovations of 20th century, which made a steep transition in the way of dealing with all aspects of life, such as providing a better communication between people, facilitating business process, serving as an entertainment base so on.

One of the major criteria for choosing a suitable solution is the time needed for opening a webpage, and navigating through the website. The navigation time could have different sources of effects, for instance: {the programming language, web browser, operating system for both server and client computers, data traffic, computer hardware abilities, internet connection speed and so forth.} In this paper we will focus on two sources which are Web Browser Type and the used Programming Language

Answering the repetitive question of what Web browser should I use.

A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. First web browser was released on 1990 by Tim Berners-Lee. Major web browsers of use today are , Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera

It was released by Microsoft as Add-on package on 1995 with Windows95. since its release it dominated web browsers market with market share of 95%, until 2002 where it started to loss some of its advocates to other competitors reaching a share 40.9% now days.

It is open source Web browser which is developed by Mozilla, it is the second used Web browser with market share of 24%. It is developed by Google and was firstly released for Windows in December 11, 2008,It is the third used web browser in the world with a market share of 20.6% according to Wikimedia log analysis.

PHP language(Hypertext Preprocessor): is a general-purpose server-side scripting language originally designed for web development to produce dynamic web pages.

JSP language: JavaServer Pages (JSP) is a Java technology that helps software developers serve dynamically generated web pages.

ASP language: ASP.NET is a Web application framework developed and marketed by Microsoft to allow programmers to build dynamic Web sites, Web applications and Web services.

The internet connection is constant, the different Web Pages has the same server and operating system performance, the server data traffic is the same during the experiments.
Data has been calculated by using different Web Browser Type and different Programming language, calculations are based on the speed opening of the webpage, each design combination has been replicated 3 times to collect the data.

Experiment results identified the most effective web browser and the most effective web language in terms of speed. We've arranged in the following table web browsers & programming languages by descending order :

Web browsers (Factor 1) & Programming language (Factor 2) affects the speed of the web page, also the interaction between them has an effect.
