INSERTING ROWS TO THE EXISTING TABLE.

3. Select the row above which you want to insert a row

2. Choose the insert rows button on the standard tool bar or


Table ->Insert->Rows Above
Row will be inserted

When we click on ‘ Rows Above’ option the
system displays a 3 X6 table as shown in the
figure.

INSERTING COLUMNS IN THE
EXISTING TABLE.
• Select the columns to the left of the present
column.
• Choose the insert columns button on the
standard tool bar or choose Table Insert
Columns to the left
• If you choose “Columns to the right” in the
insert sub menu, new column to the right of the
current column

When we click on ‘Columns to the Left’ option the system
displays a 2 X 6 table as shown in the figure.

DELECTING ROWS:
2. To delete a row of cells from a table, right
click on the row you want to delete
3. Choose delete cells from the context menu
or click in the row and choose
Table Delete Rows
3. In the delete cells dialog box, choose delete
entire row and click OK.
