 To reach control panel, Start->Settings->Control panel

 Add new hardware icon is used to install a new hardware.
 Normally you have to indicate the type of device, Model
name, manufacturer name and port to which you connect.
 The un-installation of hardware is simply disconnect the
device.
 Also un install the software related to the device.

Date and Time

• The right edge of the task bar shows system clock.

• This is used by the windows for so many applications.
• If you create a file it is appended with the created date
property.
• To reach Date and Time properties window open the
control panel
• Select the Date and time icon
• Double click the icon.
OR
Simply double click on the system clock object on the

Steps to change system date and time
1. Change year with year-dropdown list.
2. Change month with month drop down list and select the
required month.
3. Change day calendar for chosen month.
4. To change the time, click and enter the hours, minutes and
AM/PM or use spin arrows.
5. Click ‘Apply’ button.
6. Click ok button to effect changes.

Regional settings
• The regional settings will be used to customize,
Display of languages,
Numbers,
Times and Date formats of your system.
• If you set the region which you belong then the supported
language, date and time formats will be easy to set.
• To reach Regional settings properties window,
• Open the control panel
• Select the Regional settings icon
• Double click the icon.
