WE4YOU aims at achieving the following objectives:

Uplift & develop the quality of life for visually impaired citizens Assist them in their education & leading an independent life Teach them to safeguard their civil rights Enable them to lead an ethical life with dignity

:The statistics reveal some interesting facts about Indian demography. The total Indian population

is around 121 crore.


About 86853 people are born everyday & 62389 people die everyday. Total numbers of blind people in India are around 686197.

If each person pledges to donate his eyes , within 11 days all blind people will be able to see this world.

There are 48 numbers of organisations for visually impaired in all over Odisha. 4000 numbers of students studying in these institutes in a very miserable condition. These children use the traditional system of Braille to read. The institution faces scarcity of funds which is impending the growth of the children. There is a lending library which acts a source for Braille books which the students have to return after studying. This is a big problem for them as they have no permanent study material with them as the resources are limited.

There is also a shortage of skilled teachers to train these specially gifted children.

Collection of study materials prepared by experienced teachers. The parts which is to be recorded by our volunteers:- text books, previous year question & answer, probable questions for this year, FAQs. Recording process in a studio by 20 of our volunteers. Complete the whole recording process within a month. Testing & Editing of one cassette of each part & make required number

of copies of cassettes.
Distribution of cassettes & books to all students. Beginning of 2nd phase of our project which will be for college students.

The next phase will be for all students of school& college students of
Odisha. Books(including dictionaries with Braille letters) & audio cassettes will be distribute to all students.

POST DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITIES


We are not only providing the materials which they require but also we will monitor on the use of the given materials. Though human & fault both will come together & we cant avoid it even if we tried a lot, but we can try to minimize it as much as possible. Though all the students are teen agers, so they may use the provided materials for other misdeeds. School authorities may use the materials for their personal purpose, so we will monitor each & every activities done with the materials with the help of our volunteers. MONITORING SYSTEM DETAILS (for electronic instruments ) The instruments will remain in custody of school authority . The chief of the institute will be responsible for any misuse / breakage/loss of instruments. The instruments will be provided to students regularly for three hours in presence of school in-charge & volunteers provided by our organization. The volunteers will guide all the students for using the instruments & help them for their any type of problem in studies. The school authority have to maintain a proper record of all the activities(students name, used time, subjects studied, guide name etc) We will collect the records from the institutes every month & repair the instruments

VOLUNTEERS FOR MONITORING


Interested Students from all colleges. Persons from our society who are free from their job/retired from job etc. Any interested persons can do this for 3 hours a day. We will felicitate those volunteers who are regular in their job. Volunteers have to maintain a detail record of their activities. Volunteers will also get some financial help for their job. Any organization which are working for social welfare they can also do this job as per their own interest.
