SCRIPTURAL PRESENTATION: a. MAN IS GODS CO-CREATOR Be fruitful and multiply, and fill and subdue the earth Gen. 1:28 Gods work of creation continues to this day through the labors of man. Just as God is Creator, so is man a co-creator. By being such, he resembles God.

b. MAN IS MASTER AND STEWARD OF CREATION

Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth Gen. 1:28 Being the highest form of creature, man enjoys primacy over all of creation. His power over creation enables him to enhance its beauty to protect it for future generations to enjoy. Thus, he participates in Gods lordship over the created world.

c. MAN IS A LOVING RELATIONSHIP

Male and female, he created them Gen. 1:27 It is not good for man to be alone Gen. 2:18 Man can only be happy if he exists in communion with others. Just as God is a community of Persons (Holy Trinity) bound by mutual love, so does man find fulfillment in life by being in a loving relationship with God and with others.

THEOLOGICAL PRESENTATION
MAN IS INTELLIGENT AND FREE Intelligence is the capacity of the mind to know, understand, and pronounce true judgment. Free will is the capacity to make choices in accordance to his nature. Such powers are proper only to spirits to God, the angels, and man who has a spiritual soul.

b. MAN PARTICIPATES IN GODS DIVINE LIFE (Sanctifying Grace)

God breathed into mans nostrils and man became a living soul. Gen. 2:7 Of all the living creatures of God, only man was given Gods breath, thus he participates in the very life of God. The Divine Life of God in man, in theological language, is called Sanctifying Grace. Sanctifying grace accomplishes divine adoption, and makes man an heir to eternal life.
