 Every verb has 2 parts:
STEM + ENDING
Hablar = habl- + AR
Enseñar = enseñ- + AR
Estudiar = estudi- + AR
Necesitar = necesit- + AR
Comer = com- + ER
Beber = beb- + ER
Escribir = escrib- + IR
Compartir = compart- + IR

-You WANT to use verbs in ways other than in the infinitive form.
-To do this, you DROP the –ar, -er, or –ir ending and make changes.
-The stem carries the basic meaning while the ending tells
“who(subject)” and “when(tense).”

action. They tell WHO is speaking.

Subject pronouns are often used for emphasis
or clarification.
