JUSTIFICACIÓN

Este proyecto comunitario se ha planteado


con la finalidad de reducir la cantidad de
desechos orgánicos producidos por la
población a través de un tratamiento adecuado
de los mismos, evitando la contaminación en
espacios compartidos, transformando los
residuos en compost para darles un valor
agregado y mitigando su impacto ambiental
negativo.

• Pasto cortado y seco: deben ser secados al sol una vez cortados.
• Hojas secas.
• Restos de podas; las ramas favorecen la ventilación, también deben ser
triturados para su incorporación.
• Aserrín y viruta; se deben utilizar en pocas cantidades.
 
Material húmedo
• Frutas y verduras; se pueden utilizar las cascaras y restos de cocina,
preferiblemente picados.
• Estiércol de animales herbívoros;  se utiliza de animales de granja.
• Restos de cítricos; se necesitan una buena aireación (lentifica el proceso
de fermentación).
