● Al pasado simple se le llama formalmente pretérito, así que
el uso de cualquiera de los términos es válido
● En el Español usamos el pasado simple para hablar de
acciones:
○ Que fueron completadas en un momento específico en
el pasado
■ Ayer compré un vestido (I bought a dress
yesterday)
○ Que fueron parte de una serie de eventos
■ Fuí a la plata, me quité la ropa y me puse el traje de
baño (I went to the beach, undressed and put
on my swimsuit)
○ Que sucedieron por un tiempo determinado
