Función

afin
Para recordar…
¿Sabes lo que es una
función?
Existen dos tipos de
funciones

Funciones Funcione

menor a (<) 0
Veamos un
ejemplo:

ejemplo:

Entonces…
¿Cuál es la diferencia entre una
funcion lineal y una afin?

Se diferencian en que la
función afín no pasa por
el origen de las
coordenadas mientras
que la lineal si

PRACTICAL USES OF THIS SUBJECT
Do you know what helps you make your
point clear? Lists like this one:

audience won’t miss the point of your
presentation
CASE STUDY

The square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the
other two sides in a right triangle
DID YOU KNOW THIS?

The abacus is the oldest To make a paper plane, it’s

calculating tool, and it’s still best if you use a square paper
used in some countries instead of a rectangular one

The hypotenuse is the longest The number or expression

side of a right triangle, which placed underneath the radical
is opposite the right angle sign is called radicand
PROBLEM VS. SOLUTION

planet to the Sun and the It’s a gas giant, composed planet from the Sun and
smallest one in our Solar mostly of hydrogen and the fourth-largest in our
System helium Solar System
EXERCISE

Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but does its name have
anything to do with the liquid metal?

Contrary to popular belief, no. The truth is that this planet was
named after the Roman messenger god, Mercury
ASSIGNMENT

Mercury is the closest planet to

the Sun, and Neptune is the
farthest one. Calculate the
distance between these two
planets
